The Memphis Regional Megasite (MRM) in Haywood County and Fayette County, Tennessee, is the premier advanced manufacturing site in the southeastern U.S. The development of the 4,100-acre site is fully backed by the administration of Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam with a total infrastructure investment by the state of $106 million.

The Memphis Regional Megasite is an asset, and we’re committed to leveraging it to bring jobs to West Tennessee. Funding for the megasite was a priority in this year’s budget, and an additional $25 million was included in the budget for infrastructure. We are working to make this site a prime location for a major employer.”– Governor Bill Haslam

Having worked closely on the development of the Chattanooga megasite now home to Volkswagen, I know firsthand the work required to ensure a site is ready for new industry. We took no shortcuts on the Chattanooga project, and it paid off tenfold for the people of Tennessee with the creation of thousands of jobs. We have that same determination with the Memphis Regional Megasite." –Claude Ramsey
Deputy to the Governor

Tennessee’s transportation system is continuously ranked as one of the best in the nation by numerous publications and sources because Governor Haslam understands that high quality infrastructure is a key component to economic development and growth. My department is committed to developing a superior infrastructure system at the Memphis Regional Megasite.”– John Schroer

The Jackson Regional Partnership will continue to be supportive of the state and the entire Memphis Regional Megasite team’s efforts.  We will help facilitate and coordinate efforts to ensure the site’s readiness for a major project location.” – Kyle Spurgeon
